In an attempt to replicate photorealistic scenes in a sci-fi setting, I used photography and 3D models to build a potential sight in the Battle of Jakku from the Star Wars universe.

I wanted to convey a story in this piece, focusing not only on the wreckage, but the survivors and their personal conflict: a Jedi Knight and a Sith Lord.
